Whether you send domestic parcels now and again or on a regular basis, you can take advantage of many useful DHL Parcel services.
Some of them are included in the shipment price. The ones selected are available for an extra charge.

Additional services included in the shipment price

E-MAIL/SMS notifications

Notifications are free of charge information on the status of the parcel on its way to you.

You will get an E-MAIL or SMS notification about the following: the shipping of the parcel, date, location and estimated delivery time.

The message will contain information on the cash payment value if the parcel was sent with the additional "Cash on delivery" (COD) service.

With the notifications you can also use the parcel redirection service.

Internet shopping

When you finalise your online purchases, enter your mobile phone number or e-mail address, whereby we can send you notifications about the planned delivery day and address.

Preparation for shipment

Once the data is saved in the system, we generate a message to notify you that the parcel is ready for shipping.

Collecting a parcel from a shop

When the DHL courier picks up the parcel, you will get another notification, this time with information on the expected delivery day and time, destination address and, if applicable, the amount of money to be paid on delivery. If you selected the "Cash On Delivery" option, you will have enough time to get the necessary money ready.

Parcel delivery

On the delivery day you will get another reminder about the delivery date.

Parcel redirection service

DHL Parcel offers the recipient a possibility of changing delivery date or address.
This service is useful and convenient - it does not require any contact with the sender or the courier.

Pick up a parcel from the DHL ServicePoint

You can chose the most convenient time and place to pick up a parcel. Your parcel will be waiting for you at the ServicePoint for 7 calendar days. The recipient is identified on the basis of a PIN code and phone number. Read more

Delivery to a neighbour

If the recipient is not at home, the DHL Parcel courier will deliver the parcel to the alternative address stated in the waybill, if this address is near to the primary delivery location. Read more

Electronic delivery confirmation (ePOD)

Electronic proof of delivery - scanned document with the recipient's signature. Available in DHL24 application for parcels sent with this option. Included in the basic price.

Extra charge for additional services:

The amount collected as payment for the goods is sent by bank transfer in accordance with the instruction given by the Requestor of the service. The shipment's consignee is obliged to pay the collection amount in cash.

Each shipment with the COD service is subject to additional insurance.

The collected amount is transferred to sender within 5 business days, counting from the business day following the day of delivery of the shipment (the date of transferring funds from DHL Parcel's bank account).

The maximum collection amount for a shipment is PLN 11,000. If sending one or more shipments, the total collection amounts from a single sender to a single onsignee exceed PLN 6,500 on one occasion, the consignee is obliged to perform the pick up at a DHL Customer Service Point.

Charge: PLN 7 + 1% of the collection value

Charge: PLN 20 - report resent after a customer's request

The service is carried out after obtaining a written instruction from the sender
Charge: PLN 10 - within the area of the same DHL Parcel delivery terminal
Charge: 100% of the basic fee - between two DHL Parcel terminals

Cardboard packaging is available at all DHL Parcel Customer Service Points and from DHL Parcel couriers. Charge for the packaging depends on the dimensions:

The service is available for DHL PARCEL POLAND only.

Charge: PLN 12

Hard-copy confirmation - photocopy of the document with the consignee's signature.
Charge: PLN 12 when requesting the service at the time of sending the shipment
Charge: PLN 18 + PLN 5 for each additional copy of the document when requesting the service after the shipment is sent (available for 1 year after the shipment is delivered).

Sms or e-mail notification and phone call from the DHL Parcel courier to the consignee of the shipment on the day of delivery. Under this service the sender additionally permits the delivery of the shipment to an address given by the consignee, which differs from that on the waybill (within the deliverer's Terminal). The consignee can also use the Redirect Parcel service.
Charge: PLN 5

Ensure additional financial protection for your precious parcel!

Charge depends on the parcel's declared value. For parcels up to 31.5 kg:

  • up to 50,000 PLN - 3.50 PLN
  • over 50,000 to 100,000 PLN - 0.2% of the declared value.

For parcels over 31.5 kg:

  • up to 50,000 PLN - 7 PLN
  • over 50,000 to 100,000 PLN - 0.2% of the declared value

In the case of a combined parcel, the insurance fee for DHL PARCEL MAX applies.

The scope of this service may be extended for parcels with a value over 100,000 PLN, however it requires separate arrangements in the form of a written framework agreement between DHL Parcel and the customer.

Obtaining delivery confirmation for the goods shipped, on documents attached to the outside of the shipment and returning them to the sender (maximum of 5 documents).
Charge: PLN 13

Return of shipment to sender. "An undeliverable shipment" is a shipment that could not be delivered by DHL Parcel because:

  • the consignee refused to accept it,
  • the consignee refused to pay for the service,
  • the consignee refused to pay the collection amount as part of the additional Collection and remittance of amount due (COD) service,
  • the consignee failed to collect the shipment after two attempts to deliver,
  • or the address provided was incorrect, thus making delivery impossible.

Charge: 100% of the basic charge

Charge: 50% of the basic fee, but not less than PLN 15.

Sandling of the parcel payable by the requestor, who is not the sender or recipient.

Charge: 3 PLN

Processing of written orders submitted via fax or e-mail.
